My Story

From 2011 to 2021, I worked for the Correctional Service of Canada. After years of feeling unfulfilled, I began actively searching for a new career path. I had always enjoyed math and wanted to help people, but it wasn't until 2021 that I seriously considered becoming a Mortgage Agent. For four months, I spent every day off from my corrections job shadowing one of the owners and his team at The Mortgage Professionals. After three months, an assistant went on maternity leave, and I was offered her position. I was fortunate to be able to take a one-year unpaid leave from CSC to accept this opportunity. Eight months later, I officially resigned from CSC and fully committed to becoming a Mortgage Agent.

Working as an assistant to a successful owner allowed me to gain hands-on experience with a wide variety of files—files that might have taken years to encounter otherwise. By the end of 2023, I transitioned from my assistant role to becoming an independent Mortgage Agent. In 2024, I was honoured to be one of six nominees for Best Newcomer - Mortgage Agent across Canada and was awarded Highest Growth with The Mortgage Professionals.This journey has solidified my passion for the mortgage industry and my commitment to helping clients achieve their financial goals. My wife Laura and I have two incredible boys, Maximus and Leo. When I'm not at work, you can usually find me at the rink with Maximus or at the dojo with Leo. I started coaching Maximus when he began his minor hockey career and love watching the kids develop over the course of the season. My hobbies include exercising, reading, and meditation.
